Royal Oman Police is building a residential complex at Sarooj area in Qurum, OMAN. In a total area of 65,800 sq. ft the project consists of three buildings with a total of about 585 appartments of different sizes. The facilities are being built as staff accommodation for ROP officers. The project is designed in three sections with different civil contractors.
The main criteria are to provide high energy saving design, environmentally responsible high efficiency and reliable air-conditioning systems. Finally ROP wants to form a sustainable inspirational, bright and comfortable locality.
AHI Carrier/TOSHIBA in conjunction with Bhawan Electronics (Oman Distributor) recommended a sustainable design with its unique inverter controlled variable refrigerant flow system SMMSi. This Japanese designed offering has been specifically made considering the regional high ambient temperatures. The proposed design could offer comfort and ease of individual use riding on the regions highest energy efficiency.
Project design and layout was then carried out at the engineering support of back office in Sharjah. The design team selected modules of 16 HP outdoors along with elegant, stylish and simple Indoor Hi walls for each apartment. Piping layout which would minimize losses was designed with advanced software tools.
TOSHIBA has been awarded major block of appartments in the present construction phase of the complex inspite of tough competition with LG, Samsung, Fujitsu General, Daikin, Gree, Trane.
