Executive Summary

Toshiba Super MMS system was installed in university building and maintains the individual temperature demands of each laboratory. Attention was concentrated on energy saving, as usual in Japan.

The university as part of their centenary have developed this building with the aim to secure the future of the Sophia University in the 21st century. The laboratories such as the Faculty of law, Faculty of economics, Faculty of foreign studies has moved, the office of each faculty which were previously dispersed over the campus and have now been integrated into the new area. As a 21st century university it is designed to accommodate senior citizens and the disabled, this enables the whole society to have access to the University.
